Librettos Being Sent Back

Please turn in your Librettos to Jim's box or office ASAP.

STRIKE Monday and Tuesday

All cast and crew should be present at strike Monday after school 3:30 to 6:30 or Tuesday 3:30 to 6:30. If you can come both days we could certainly use your help but you are required to attend at least one day of strike.

Cast Party

Cast/crew members should start considering whether they can volunteer their house for the cast party. It is a sleepover and is only for cast and crew.

Thank you gifts

Closing night is coming soon! We wouldn't want Saturday to come and go without thanking our hard-working directors (Meredith, Jim, Aaron) for working with all of our students and giving them this opportunity to be part of the "Company!" To thank the wonderful directors, we will be giving them flowers, a thank-you card signed by the kids, and additional gifts (they may read this - so don't want to divulge what). The standard contribution to the gifts is $10-20 (or more if you like). Remember, Meredith is a Student Teacher so she doesn't get paid for any of her time on this (actually she's paying!). Time is of the essence. Susan Palmiter (Lynn - Kathy's mom) has volunteered to collect the donations and get the gifts. 

PLEASE let her know that you plan to contribute so she knows how much money she has to work with. Email her at susan.palmiter@designtech.com. Also, make sure your student signs the thank you cards! They will be circulating starting Thursday night.

There are 3 ways to get your thank you gift included (whatever amount works for your family):
1. Send your gift via your student to Lynn Bajorek (Kathy) tomorrow or Friday at school or the play
2. Drop off your donation on Thursday or Friday to the Ticket table (there will be an envelope where you can add your contribution) 
3. Send money through PayPal to susan.palmiter@designtech.com through "Send Money" tab - Personal tab (paypal keeps a part of what you send, though)

Hi Company parents - My older daughter took photos at the show on Saturday.  There are several good ones of everyone in the cast that I thought you might enjoy.

To Download Individual Photos from Flickr:

• Chose an individual Photo
• Click "Actions" on the Top Left Corner
• Choose "View All Sizes"
• Download the Photo at a Specific Size

I recommend downloading the photos at "Large" since my photos are quite large.

The only exception of this is if you're planning to print the photos out, in which case I recommend getting the "Original" size.

If you are like my mom and want all or a great number of the photos, I'd suggest downloading the program Bulkr.  I've tried multiple applications for bulk downloading and this is my favorite.  For both Macs and PC's, you can download 500 photos from Flickr for free.  It's fast, well-organized, and easy to use.

Feel free to download or print any photos you'd like.  That being said I'd love attribution for use of the photos.

Call times for this week

Wednesday all will be called at 3:30 to get into costumes and basic hair and make-up for a 4:00 pick up run of the show. There will be some people present in the audience.

Thursday and Saturday are normal call times

Friday all the actors and lighting crew are called 30 minutes early as there will be a photo call on stage in full make-up, hair, and costume at 6:00pm. JD will have these pictures available a week after he takes them.

Saturday we will be having a quick cast party on stage after the show then send everyone away to continue celebrating on their own.

Market the show for the 2nd weekend

Tell people to buy their tickets for the final weekend of the show soon! We anticipate selling out.

I'll see you all at 3:30 for our 4:00pm pick-up rehearsal on Wednesday. Rest up!
